St Patrick’s GFC GAA Club Website with Live Fixtures Integration
A full multi page WordPress website built from scratch for an Irish GAA (Gaelic football) club, integrating live fixtures/results, online membership, club lotto, merchandise, and sponsorship management into one platform for club officials and the local community.

Case Study Overview
The client, a GAA club committee, needed a website built from a reference design with no existing site, covering fixtures & results, news, club shop, sponsorship, membership, and history. Key challenges included pulling live fixtures/results automatically from the county GAA and LGFA (ladies) websites instead of manual entry, integrating Clubforce for online lotto, Foireann for membership sign-up, Stripe for recurring corporate sponsorship payments, and building an editable structure the club's own admins could manage without developer help going forward.
Built a multi page GAA club site (Home, Fixtures & Results, News, Club Shop, Teams, History, Photo Gallery, Sponsorship, Contact) on WordPress with Elementor, matched to club branding and colors. Implemented a live fixtures and results feed using the official Foireann Open Data API, filtered by age group and gender (Senior/Junior/Minor/Juvenile for men's and ladies football) with correct GAA style scoring format, replacing manual updates. Integrated Clubforce for the weekly club lotto (jackpot and numbers display), Foireann for membership sign-up and player registration, and Stripe payment links for monthly/annual corporate sponsorship subscriptions with a dedicated landing page. Built a sponsorship showcase with auto-scrolling logos linked to sponsor websites, an injury claim section (GAA/LGFA side-by-side with QR codes), a photo gallery page, and a news section the club can update. Iterated through 11+ rounds of revisions covering layout, hover/color states, mobile-specific responsive fixes (fixtures on one line, header sizing), font matching to a reference GAA site, contact page redesign, and ongoing sponsor list updates.
Delivered a fully responsive GAA club website with live updating fixtures/results pulled via API, integrated online lotto, membership, and sponsorship payment flows, and an easily manageable content structure for the club completed across 11+ rounds of client and committee revisions from initial build through ongoing refinement.
