Case Study Overview
The client, operating serviced apartments across five German cities, needed a modern direct-booking website to replace reliance on third-party portals. The site had to follow a strict Homepage → Listing → Detail → Booking funnel, embed the Guesty Booking Engine for live calendar/availability, present an interactive map of their actual locations, and feel like a professional, trustworthy hybrid hotel/apartment brand rather than a generic holiday-rental template — all while matching a specific external reference design.
Built the full site in WordPress with Elementor from an existing client wireframe, embedding the Guesty Search Bar Widget and Guesty Booking Engine (via Guesty's Open API using OAuth client credentials) so guests can search availability and book directly. Developed an interactive Germany map that filters and auto-scrolls to location-specific listings (Hamburg, Henstedt-Ulzburg, Schwerin, Norderstedt, Bremerhaven) pulled dynamically from Guesty, plus a dedicated long-term rental section, a bottom-sticky mobile booking bar, a tabbed Booking.com/Airbnb reviews widget, an FAQ section, and a full rebrand from the client's placeholder domain to the LIVA Stays identity. Iterated through nine rounds of client revisions covering layout density, mobile image grids, review consolidation, and UI polish based on ongoing feedback.
Delivered a fully responsive, SEO-structured booking website with a working end-to-end direct-booking flow through Guesty, live multi-city listings, and a trust-building reviews and FAQ layer — taking the project from wireframe through multiple QC rounds and nine client revision cycles to a production site actively used for direct bookings.
